Originally a 19th century cologne water, Florida Water was named after the Fountain of Youth thought to be located in the Sunshine State. It's popularity grew especially among spiritual practitioners, most likely due to its natural and botanically derived ingredients.

Although it does contain water, Florida Water is in essence a blend of botanicals, flowers, citrus and essential oils mixed into a solvent to preserve the ingredients. The resulting elixir is incredibly versatile.
As a cologne it has a light fresh unisex scent. As a multipurpose household cleaner you can wipe down any surface with it. lt can be added to your bath water for an aromatic soak, and misted into your environment to purify the air.

Because of its spiritual history, Florida Water is often used to cleanse the hands before ritual work, to purify ritual spaces, and to anoint sacred objects and divination tools.
